General Care of Amaryllis

It needs plenty of light to thrive, but you should avoid direct sunlight to prevent the wax from melting. Water it carefully.

When a flower has died, cut it off at the main stem with scissors.

Cut off the main flower stems once they turn yellow or fall off.

After flowering you can reuse the bulb, remove the wax and plant.
